Hello my name is Tyisha Brown, and I have been teaching English at Cunningham Middle School for seven years, which is my entire professional teaching career. I attended University of Houston where I received a Bachelor’s of Art in Public Relations; I then went on to receive my Masters in Educational Administration with a Principal Certification from University of Houston Clear Lake. I enjoy fishing and fitness. I have been married to my husband Sylvester Brown for six years. I want my students to truly understand that an educated mind is a powerful tool that will help them overcome any obstacle they may face in life-- and if they work hard, eventually they will see the fruits of their labor.
